Bank Robber scratched from Manikato Stakes

Bank Robber has been scratched from the 2010 Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday night after veterinary advice this afternoon.

The Group 1 Manikato Stakes was scheduled to be Bank Robber’s debut for Mark Kavanagh after the gelding started his racing career with Gai Waterhouse’s stable.

Racing Victoria was informed of Bank Robber’s condition on Thursday afternoon by the Mark Kavanagh stable – according to reports he returned a high white blood cell count and needed to undergo treatment.

With 17 race starts and 5 wins to his name, the son of Dash For Cash was at odds of $15 for the win in betting.

For a full field preview of the feature Group 1 race at Moonee Valley tomorrow night go to 2010 Manikato Stakes Final Field.
