Saturday’s 2010 Light Fingers Stakes

This Saturday, February 13, the $150 000 Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) will run at the picturesque Randwick Racecourse in Sydney as part of the exciting Royal Sovereign Stakes Day.

The event has attracted an elite field of ten fine fillies, headlined by the Gai Waterhouse-trained More Joyous.

More Joyous will start from barrier ten with Nash Rawiller aboard as she attempts her fifth win from eight starts.

Other notable runners starting in the Light Fingers Stakes include Peter Snowden’s Trim (br.8), the Gillian Heinrich-trained Sweepstaking (br.5) and Prerequisite drawn well in four.
