Elliotto has won the Group Three R.J. Peters Stakes after a spectacular battle between the gelding and runner-up Colour Correct.

Race favourite Grand Nirvana weaved through plenty of traffic to end with third place followed by Delta Gee in fourth position.
Although Colour Correct has not yet qualified for the $1 million Railway Stakes, the runner-up may still be in with a chance, depending on whether all the horses will accept their nominations for Saturday?s event.
