After this morning’s betting market suspension on this Saturday’s Caulfield Cup, Predatory Pricer has been named the new favourite for the Group 1 race.

Twenty horses have dropped out of the 2400m Caulfield Cup including Metropolitan Handicap winner Speed Gifted and Cox Plate winner Maldivian earlier today.

The race features 18 runners and four emergencies with Baughurst, Light Vision, Newport and Shocking sitting equal at 18^th.
