The Melbourne forecast today is for a partly cloudy afternoon and with zero chance of rainfall the current Good (3) Caulfield track rating is set to remain making for a top day on the turf.

There are four Group 1 spring races peppered across the Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Day card, but Melbourne racing kicks off at 12:20pm (AEDT) with the Listed Inglis Debutant Stakes.

The action rounds out with Race 10 at 5:45pm (AEDT), three sprinters withdrawn from the 2017 Schillaci Stakes field, and it is an all-black type program at Caulfield today.

Caulfield Race 8 is the big one with two scratchings – Summer Passage (17) and Éclair Sunshine (12) – from the 2017 Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas field.
