A capacity field of twenty runners will line up in the Group 1 $1m Darley Goodwood (1200m) at Morphettville today after the final scratchings were taken this morning.

The original field for the Goodwood was made up of a top twenty plus three emergencies but with the early scratchings of Karlovasi and Viddora, first and second emergencies Lucky Liberty and Lope De Capio were included in the final field while third emergency Counter Pulse failed to gain a start.

Local jockey Joe Bowditch who was down to ride Viddora now gets the mount on Lucky Liberty with Jamie Kah to ride Lope De Capio while Karlovasi will take his place in the field for the Listed $120,000 Straight Six (1200m) at Flemington today.

The Darren Weir trained Black Heart Bart remains the $3.50 favourite for the Goodwood at Ladbrokes.com.au

There is a total of seventeen scratchings for the Goodwood Race Day eight event program that will be run on a Good 4 rated tack with the rail out 4m for the entire course.
