A full field of 18 will face off in the last on Caloundra Cup Day this weekend, the $100,000 Listed Yalumba Wines Bribie Handicap (1000m) set to jump as the Sunshine Coast Race 8 at 4:37pm (AEST).

The field also includes the emergency runner True Royal, Jason McLachlan’s local Real Saga three-year-old first-up for the season, after the early scratching of Lisa Fashionista who was drawn wide in barrier 13.

Mr Favulous meanwhile is drawn in barrier six with jockey Jeff Lloyd booked for the ride aboard the Falvelon six-year-old who comes off a win in the Listed Weetwood Handicap (1200m) at his home track on May 2.

In the Weetwood Mr Favulous only carried 54kg to victory however and the rise up to 58.5kg on Saturday is a notable one.

The Bribe Handicap field and weights are led by the Tom Bourke-trained Rocky King who is drawn on the rails (barrier one) with Tegan Harrison to ride on 59kg.

Easy Rocking gelding Rocky King hasn’t won a race since mid-November over this track and distance but is on the improve this campaign.

He has a gun record over the 1000m at his home Sunshine Coast track having won four of his five starts, Saturday his 34th career run on the back of a sixth to Craftiness over 1050m at Doomben on March 28.

He comes into Saturday’s race on the back of an 850m trial win here as well.

Also heavily weighted are McLachlan’s other runner Facile Tigre (58kg) and the Liam Birchley-trained Time To Plunder (57.5kg) who both resuming racing in the Bribie Handicap.

Daniel Griffin has the ride on the returning Facile Tigre drawn a treat in barrier four in his first run since winning over 1200m at the track back in January.

He’s undefeated in two previous runs at the track and distance, is three from four at the Sunshine Coast and also runs well first-up (14-3-3-3) according to the record book.

Time To Plunder has barrier eight this weekend, the Holy Roman Emperor six-year-old having run two solid thirds during his Queensland summer campaign.

He was beaten only a length when third to Tinto in the Listed Bernborough Handicap (1625m) at Toowoomba in December and was then last seen crossing two and a half lengths off Tarloshan in the Listed Sunshine Coast Cup (1400m) on January 26.

His best distance is over further than this but the sprint first-up could be to his liking as he goes in without a lead-up trial.

Also drawn well are the likes of the Brenden Mackay-trained Warhead four-year-old Craiglea Cruz (barrier two) and the returning Nudgee Fillies & Mares Handicap winning Fastnet Rock mare Saturn Rock with Larry Cassidy aboard in gate five.

Notable chances out wide then include the Joe Pride-trained Sydney raider Diamond Oasis (barrier 15) coming off a third behind Platelet over 955m at Moonee Valley in late March and smart Sequalo five-year-old Seeking Moore (barrier 18) prepared by Brisbane’s Kelso Wood.

Also in the mix with a midfield barrier is the flying Tony Sears-trained The Conspirator after his third win on the trot, his latest being over 1100m at Toowoomba back on April 18.
