The pair has also then been nominated for the $200,000 Group 3 The Daily Telegraph Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at the meeting in case they miss a run in the coveted Group 1.
The bookies at Ladbrokes.com.au are keeping both youngster safe in their futures Doncaster Mile odds with Kermadec at $8 and Sweynesse $9 in markets led by fellow three-year-old Hallowed Crown ($6) who comes off a third in the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m) over more distance.
Winner of Melbourne’s Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) at Flemington back on Derby Day in the Spring, Teofilo colt Kermadec has been thereabouts all autumn including his fourth to Wandjina in the Group 1 Australian Guineas (1600m) and a last start third to Japan’s Real Impact in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m).

O’Shea and Godolphin have also entered Wakeful Stakes runner-up Abduction and progressive colt Farolitos for the Carbine Club Stakes while Waller’s other possible runner in the Group 3 is his Australian Oaks hope Amicus.
The Fastnet Rock filly, coming off a sixth to Fenway in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) from last Saturday, is also nominated for Saturday’s Doncaster Mile, the $2 million Group 1 Australian Derby (2400m) and the $200,000 Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m).
Another exciting Group 1 performer in the Carbine Club mix this year is the Bryce Heys-trained Keeper gelding Sworn To Silence who ran an eye-catching fourth to Hallowed Crown in the Randwick Guineas.
