After a last start win at the track at the start of the month, the Paul Perry-trained Hidden Warrior will shoot for successive Rosehill victories in the 2013 Starlight Stakes this weekend.

The Hidden Dragon four-year-old, a Group 3 Moonee Valley winner last spring, held on in a narrow finish over 1100m on November 2 to post their fifth career win.
Now their Broadmeadow-based trainer Perry will run them again on Saturday as one of 10 final acceptors for the $100,000 Listed Blackwoods Alemlube Starlight Stakes over the same track and distance.
Drawn in barrier six with Nathan Berry to ride, Hidden Warrior goes up from 57kg last start to 59kg on Saturday which is the equal top weight with the returning Guy Walter-trained Straight Albert (barrier two).
Magic Albert gelding Straight Albert won four on the trot back in the summer of 2011 – 12 including the Gosford Cup that January.
They returned for one run last autumn but have been out of action since.
After so long off the scene, Straight Albert ran a nice third in an 800m Goulburn barrier trial this month showing they were ready to get back to business.
Along with Hidden Warrior the other last start winner in the mix is Chris Waller’s Heart Testa who has the rails run from barrier one.
The Testa Rossa four-year-old has finished out of the money in only two of their 12 starts to date after posting their sixth career win over the 1100m here on November 16.
Saturday will be their first go in black type company since an autumn – winter campaign that culminated with a disappointing eighth to Limes in the Hawkesbury Guineas.
Also coming off a nice last start effort is Bjorn Baker’s veteran eight-year-old grey Zaratone, Kathy O’Hara to ride them from barrier four.
The gelding carried 60.5kg when a length away third behind Heart Testa over this track and distance and will appreciate the drop back to 58kg for the Starlight.
Other notable hopes include Master Harry returning here for the start of their summer campaign, the dual Group 3 winning Peter Snowden-trained Safeguard and Kris Lees‘ Ad Valorem gelding Uate who is also first-up here.
