Nominations have been announced for the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude, which is scheduled to run at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday September 21, 2013.

13 horses have nominated for a run in the 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude, including Kiss A Rose.

Kiss A Rose has won two of her three race starts and has earned more than $142,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

The three-year-old is looking to win the 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude ahead of a run in the $1 million Thousand Guineas at Caulfield on October 16, 2013.

Kiss A Rose faced her first defeat last start when she placed a gallant second to Charlie Boy in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes at Flemington Racecourse.

The Sebring filly is trained at Caulfield by Peter Moody and will have the home track advantage for Saturday’s 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude.

Also included in the 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude nominations is Montsegur.

Montsegur has won two of her seven race starts and has earned more than $209,000 in prize money during so far.

The New Approach filly placed third in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes last start and will be out to go two places better when she lines up for the 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude this weekend.

Bulbula and Gregers are also included in the 2013 Thousand Guineas Prelude nominations.
