The 2011 Blue Diamond Stakes will have one of the shortest priced favourites of all time.
It’s a case of Sepoy and the rest with some bookmakers even offering separate markets for the race ‘without Sepoy‘ to try and field some other bets.

Punters don’t seem bothered at all though and at last check Sepoy was in to $1.50 fixed price on the Luxbet markets.
On the fluctuations he’s as much as $2.40 but you will get nowhere near that much by the time the race jumps.
The next closest contenders haven’t even been supported into single figures with Hallowell Belle and Atomic sharing a $10 fixed price.
In terms of market movers there really isn’t a lot to speak of. Envious is the closest thing after opening at $36 the price quickly dropped to $26 where it’s remained steady.
The only other one is Metonymy which was out as much as $41 but has come in to $31 fixed.
Overall though it’s a case of how short will Sepoy get and can he buck the trend of recent favourites by going on to dominate the Blue Diamond Stakes like so many expect of him.
