A photo was needed to split One Last Dance and Anevay, with One Last Dance given the win by from a field of 13 up and coming two-year-old fillies.
Motifs lead early before Anevay came up to take control. As One Last Dance and jockey Luke Nolen powered down the home straight it looked like she would pull away but Anevay held on strongly on the rails and only just missed the win by the bob of the head. Graskop came through for third 1.8 lengths back.
The Peter Moody trained One Last Dance should now firm in betting for the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes.
