The Everest winner races on and even at the odds-on quote is impossible to bet against. The Joe Pride-trained sprint star just keeps on winning and can’t see the streak ending here. Beaten just once in his 12 starts and defeated the country’s best sprinters over the six furlongs at Randwick in the world’s richest turf race second-up without stress. Fitter now third-up and ready to fire again up to 1300m here. A multiple Group 1 winner in the winter in Queensland including taking out the Stradbroke over 1400m so the distance is a non-issue. Nothing in this race will beat him.
The confirmed Giga Kick Stakes 2023 field of sprinters will be detailed below as soon as available.
Many horses in the Winners Stakes field may have contested the previous month’s Group 3 Concorde Stakes (1000m) at Randwick and Gytrash (2020) was the last to do the double.
The 2023 Giga Kick Stakes final field features a quality line-up of sprinters and middle-distance spring gallopers dominated by last start The Everest hero Think About It.
