With the Melbourne Cup less than a week away, iPhone users need to hurry up and download the new Melbourne Cup application.

The application was devised by cricketing legend Max Walker’s company Maxximiser and currently has nine features including race news, event information, race form guides, photo sharing, sweeps, an interactive map of Flemington, trivia, history and extras.

The official VRC application has its electronic form guides generated by information from the Racing Information Services Australia (RISA) and allows spectators to upload their race photos for sharing.

The Melbourne Cup Carnival application is available to download now for $3.99.
