The 2011 Emirates Stakes Field promises to be just as strong as ever with plenty of horses putting their hand up during the Autumn and Winter carnivals and working strongly through the spring.
The best and most in form milers will converge on Flemington Racecourse on what has become a real celebration day.
The Emirates Stakes is held on the Saturday, the final day of the Melbourne Cup carnival and one of the most popular meets in the country for race fans.
