The Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival action continues at Eagle Farm Racecourse today, Saturday May 25, with Kingsford Smith Cup Day 2019 where the line-up where seven on the nine races hold Group status.

It is sunny in Brisbane for Cup Day and with no chance of rain the current Good (4) Eagle Farm track rating is set to stay across the afternoon making for an even surface and opening up the betting markets.

Brisbane racing kicks off this morning at 11:10am (AEST) with the nine-race Eagle Farm program coming to a close at 4:15pm (AEST).

The marquee race on the card is of course the Group 1 $700,000 Kingsford-Smith Cup (1300m) where the original 18 starter field is down to 17 due to yesterday’s scratching of Home Of The Brave due to an elevated temperature.

The powerhouse Godolphin stable are left with two starters in the Kingsford Smith Cup field including the current $6 favourite in betting at Ladbrokes.com.au, Trekking, chasing a third win on the trot.
