The action is of course headlined by a star-studded field of weight-for-age horses facing off in the Group 1 $500,000 Ladbrokes C.F. Orr Stakes (1400m) at 4:45pm (AEDT).

There are 13 remaining gallopers in the season’s opening elite level after Friday’s scratching of the reigning champion Black Heart Bart due to a hoof abscess.
