Closing the Doncaster Mile Day card as Randwick Race 10 at 5:50pm (AEDT) on Saturday afternoon, this season’s $200,000 Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) has attracted a capacity field of three-year-old fillies.

The race offers a final chance to make the following weekend’s ATC Oaks field and leading Adrian Knox Stakes odds at Ladbrokes.com.au this autumn is Perfect Rhyme at a current quote of $4.80.

The daughter of Poet’s Voice has firmed notably in from $6 with the rain coming down in Sydney.

She is proven on a Heavy track having won over 1400m at Hawkesbury in the mud two back and is out to improve on her last start fourth to Dawn Wall in the Group 3 Kembla Grange Classic (1600m) from March 10.

Occupying the second line of Adrian Knox Stakes betting this year at $5 is the widely-drawn Mull Over out in gate 14 and up in class after the James Cummings-trained daughter of So You Think won over 1600m at Newcastle last time out.

Mull Over could turn out to be the improver in the race even from her wide alley and looks like she will enjoy the step up to 2000m.

Also at single-figures are the likes of High Impulse ($7.50), La Chatte ($7.50) and the rails-drawn Baysa ($8.50).

Cummings also prepares High Impulse who comes into the Adrian Knox Stakes field on a 30 day turnaround.

She broke her maiden status last time out at Hawkesbury on a Heavy (8) by a runaway five lengths over 1800m and should eat-up the extra distance here after a smart Warwick Farm trial when third to Arod on March 24.

La Chatte is a consistent John O’Shea-trained daughter of Medaglia D’Oro representing the powerhouse Godolphin stable.

She has had four career starts for three second place finishes, most recently over the mile at Kembla Grange from a wide alley (13 of 14) when making up all the ground late.

This Saturday she is drawn out wide again in barrier 15 of 16 so will likely get a similar run in transit, presenting as a livewire place chance once more.

Baysa will be working to stay out of trouble from barrier one in the wet, the Chris Waller-trained Mastercraftsman grey bred to handle the Heavy track conditions.

She won over the mile at Goulburn last time out from barrier one on a Heavy (9) track and will be out to repeat the feat in tougher company on Saturday.
