2016 Run To The Rose Day Scratchings

The 2016 Run To The Rose is set to be an absolute ripper, but unfortunately the wet weather in Sydney has meant there has been plenty of scratchings from the Rosehill Gardens card.

It has been raining in Sydney on and off since Wednesday and that means that the Rosehill Gardens track will be in the heavy range.

Thankfully, Rosehill Gardens generally stills plays well in the wet – unlike Royal Randwick – and most horses should still receive every possible chance in the nine races this afternoon.

Rosehill Gardens Track Report 27/08/2016

  • Rail: True
  • Weather: Fine
  • Track Condition: Heavy 9
  • Penetrometer: 5.88

The Run To The Rose is the featured race at Rosehill Gardens this afternoon and thankfully has not been affected by any scratchings.

Unfortunately this has not been the case with the majority of the other races on the card and a total of 24 horses have been scratched due to the condition of the track.

There is still a winner to be found in every single race at Rosehill Gardens this afternoon and there are a wide range of betting markets available for each contest with Ladbrokes.
