Closing the card on RN Irwin Stakes Day due to run as Morphettville Race 8 at 4:53pm (local) on Saturday, the $100,000 Listed Projection Graphics Redelva Stakes (1100m) field attracted a dozen final acceptors.

To wear the number one saddlecloth and jumping from the inside alley with Dom Tourneur aboard is Pendragon filly Miss Gunpowder who comes off a first-up second to Viddora over 1050m at the track on April 9.

Before that she was racing in Melbourne over the spring with much success including her Group 2 Tranquil Star (1400m) win at Caulfield in September that lead to her last start eighth to Stay With Me in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m).

Stokes has also accepted for his last start winning More Than Ready filly Cocoa Doll who carries the 54kg minimum, while stablemate Miss Gunpowder is the 58kg top weight in the set weights plus penalties clash.

The lightly-raced three-year-old has had three starts for two wins, both at Morphettville, and a Group 3 run at Caulfield to date.

Last time out in early April she saluted over 1200m at Morphettville by two lengths, form she’s looking to bring into her Black Type test on Saturday with interstate hoop Craig Williams to ride from barrier seven.

Another Melbourne-performed headliner in the Redelva Stakes field this Adelaide Autumn Racing Carnival is the Tony McEvoy-trained Don’t Doubt Mamma drawn in gate six for jockey Jason Holder on 56.5kg.

A winner of four of her 11 starts to date, including the Group 3 The Vanity (1400m) at Flemington in February first-up, the daughter of Not A Single Doubt was last seen running second to Badawiya also at Flemington in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes (1400m).

Saturday is her first run at Morphettville, but she has been over Adelaide’s other major track Morphettville Parks so has form in Adelaide.

The aforementioned Viddora, who beat Miss Gunpowder home last start, is another acceptor into Saturday’s rematch.

The Lloyd Kennewell-trained I Am Invincible filly has had four runs at the course for two wins and also saluted over 1050m at Oakbank in late March giving her the target of three consecutive wins to aim for from barrier nine on the weekend.

Other notable hopes include Counter Pulse with a 50% winning strike rate to date, the Richard Jolly-trained Zizou gelding Evil Dreams and Andrew Noblet’s Victorian visitor Super Cash.

Caulfield-trained Written Tycoon filly Super Cash won the Listed Moomba Plate (1100m) at Flemington two back before a last start fifth in the Group 3 PJ Bell Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on April 2 that she’s out to improve on in easier class on Saturday.
