Two Word All Aged Stakes 2016 Form Guide

The feature attraction at Royal Randwick Racecourse for the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival’s final Group 1 race day is the 2016 All Aged Stakes, the Races.com.au’s famous two-word form guide for which is found below.

All eight original final acceptors are still in the mix for this year’s $600,000 Group 1 Schweppes All Aged Stakes (1400m), the weight-for-age showdown due to run as Randwick Race 7 at 3:45pm (AEST) on the nine-race card.

Favourite in All Aged Stakes betting at Ladbrokes.com.au is the Chris Waller-trained Hinchinbrook colt Press Statement, winner of the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) in the spring.

The gun three-year-old has had three runs this time in and won over this track / distance three back first-up in the Hobartville Stakes.

He has placed twice in Group 1 class twice after that including the George Ryder Stakes third to Winx and has been freshened-up since, looking the one to beat at $3.50 dropping back to 1400m with Hugh Bowman riding.

His biggest dangers according to the markets are the Gai Waterhouse-trained filly English ($4.60) drawn one on his outside in barrier seven and the flying Malaguerra ($4) who faces his toughest test to date looking to extend a smart winning streak.

Earlier in the week we published a comprehensive All Aged Stakes 2016 form guide and betting preview.

Time is running out with the race fast approaching however so below we’ve summed up the chances of the All Aged Stakes hopes in just two-words so you know who to back and who to sack through Ladbrokes.com.au now!
