Set to jump as Flemington Race 6 at 3:05pm (AEST), this year’s $1 million Group 1 Longines Mackinnon Stakes (2000m) is available only at on Saturday at Best Tote or SP + 20% as part of their Derby Day double offer!

Originally the Mackinnon Stakes field featured 15 hopefuls but Team Williams opted for the early scratching of Fawkner who had the outside alley and will instead be saved for the Group 2 Zipping Classic (2400m) on November 14 at Sandown.

Of the remaining runners six are under double figures for the win in the latest Mackinnon Stakes odds including current $5.50 favourite Magic Hurricane.

John O’Shea’s last start Group 1 The Metropolitan (2400m) winner in Sydney jumps from barrier one with Opie Bosson in the saddle, but is looking to become the first Mackinnon Stakes winner to come off a Sydney run since Desert War (2006).
