Set to run as Flemington Race 4 at 1:40pm (AEST), this year’s $500,000 Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) features a field of a dozen youngsters dominated by Exosphere.

The latest Coolmore Stud Stakes odds at, where you will win an Extra 50% on your first Fixed Odds winning in Races 1 – 5 on Saturday at Flemington, have John O’Shea’s flying Golden Rose winner at an odds-on price of $1.45.

Coming off a win in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) in Sydney, which has produced the past two Coolmore Stud Stakes winners who both completed the double for Chris Waller, the nicely-bred Lonhro colt shoots for his fourth straight win.

He is drawn to salute for the punters and continue the gun record of favourites in the race jumping from barrier two with the flying Sydney-based James McDonald in the saddle and is the only single figure hope in the Coolmore Stud Stakes betting markets.

The next best in betting and after a massive upset Coolmore Stud Stakes result are the fellow Godolphin-raced Mogador ($11) in barrier seven who was last seen running second in the Listed Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) and winner of that lead-up Keen Array ($11) prepared by David Hayes & Tom Dabernig who are enjoying a stellar strike rate this spring.
