Running second in a minor over 1100m on debut before posting a maiden win in the Charter Keck Kramer Handicap (1200m) on May 30th, Kinglike delivered a classy field a resounding defeat in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) first-up this time and should relish the conditions on Saturday.
Kuro has quickly found form in his short time under the guidance of Lee and Anthony Freedman this season, but may require some luck in running on Saturday from barrier 7.
