2015 Queensland Cup Odds and Betting Update

Nine stayers have been confirmed in the final featured for Saturday’s Listed Queensland Cup (3200m) on the Sunshine Coast; offering punters exceptional value from a betting standpoint and several key opportunities to place a winning wager.

Major Major was unable to produce a competitive finish when sixth in the Group 3 Tattersall’s Cup (2400m) a fortnight ago, but has maintained status as outright $3.40 favourite in 2015 Queensland Cup betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Posting four wins and a further eight minors through 28 career starts so far, Major Major returned for consecutive wins in the HMAS Sydney BM75 (2400m) and Pro-Ride BM70 (2400m), but was unable to handle the late pace when seventh in the Listed McKell Cup (2400m) on May 23rd.

Having since finished thirteenth in the Group 2 Brisbane Cup (2200m) prior to the Tattersall’s Cup, Major Major will leave from barrier 7 with Tim Bell aboard this weekend.

Lovethebeaches will carry winning form into the 2015 Queensland Cup, should relish the two mile running distance and offers punters great value for money at current $4.80 odds.

Confirmed to line up for her 12th competitive start this time in the Queensland Cup, Lovethebeaches finished second in the Gosford Rotary BM65 (2080m) on May 7th before progressing to success in the De Bortoli Wines BM61 (2600m) only a week later.

Having since finished fifth in the Grange Bar And Bistro BM65 (2100m) and won the Stayers Cup (3200m) by five lengths at Randwick on June 6th, Lovethebeaches is sure to be given a gem of a ride from Paul King.

Husson Choice is arguably the most consistent runner confirmed in the 2015 Queensland Cup field and offers exceptional value for money at current $5.50 odds for success.

Running fourth in a Scone minor over 2200m on May 29th, Husson Choice has since finished third in each of the Stayers Cup and TAB.com.au BM75 (2600m).

The son of Husson is sure to find ideal running room from barrier 2, and will be partnered by local hoop Tegan Harrison in the Queensland Cup.
