The filly’s trainers David Hayes & Tom Dabernig have been fighting the fires surrounding their training property for the past two days, however Hayes made the reassurance on Thursday that he is optimistic about getting the filly to Sydney in time for Saturday’s race despite an issue with transport.

“Miss Idyllic still very likely to run, issue with transport getting in to property but we should be able to get her out no [problems],” Hayes tweeted via his Lindsay Park Racing account.

Miss Idyllic is currently on the second line of betting for the 2014 Multi Place Handicap at Ladbrokes.com.au, offering odds of $4.80 alongside Pride Of Dubai. The pair are behind only market moving favourite Ottoman, who saw its price firm from $2.40 into $2.10.

The Exceed And Excel filly is making her debut from barrier eight with James McDonald to ride. She impressed in a barrier trial on December 9 at Warwick Farm over 740m.

Miss Idyllic remains without a win from her three career starts, although she did manage two second place finishes and looks set to impress on Saturday after drawing ideally in barrier five with Michael Walker in the saddle.

The filly debuted in the Listed Inglis Debutant Stakes (1000m) on October 11 in which she drove to be forward early before pushing on to challenge at the turn and boxed on into second place. She then made her debut in group racing on Melbourne Cup Day at Flemington, missing out on a placing in the Group 3 Emirates Airline Plate (1000m) by just a neck.

The emerging sprinter was last seen running a very close second in the ADAPT Australia Handicap (1000m) on November 29. She was fast out the gate to sit outside the leader before easing out three wide at the turn. The filly ran to the front 200m out and looked the winner on the home straight before Bantam just kicked back to win a short nose in front.
