This is the biggest field of any of the nine races across Zipping Classic Day, the final instalment of the 2014 spring racing carnival, with many of the other races extending their nominations.

Chris Waller is set to end his spring campaign with a bang, headlining the final field with both She’s Clean and Belle De Coeur.

The six-year-old filly is lightly raced this season with just two starts, the Group 3 Nivison (1200m) and Group 3 Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes (1400m). She did well to finish fourth in the Nivison after getting struck with interference at the start and ending up a long way back. After easing to the middle of the track she made a long sustained charge to finish powerfully, just 1¼ lengths off the winner. She’s Clean finished tenth in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes but was only four lengths off the winner.

She’ll enjoy a start from barrier 7 (into 6 after the emergency scratchings) with James Winks in the saddle.

Belle De Coeur will jump from the middle of the field in barrier ten with Glen Boss as hoop. She was fourth in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes last time out, missing out on a placing by just a nose.

A number of the top rated horses have drawn wide barriers, including Estonian Princess (14) and Politeness (13), which evens out the field a little bit.

The Scott Aspery-trained Estonian Princess was second in the Group 3 Angst Stakes (1600m) on October 11 before missing out on a placing in the Group 1 Myer Classic (1600m) by just half a length. The mare got back well beyond midfield but followed the winner into the race and ran on really strongly. Both of these runs were from barriers wider than 10 so this shouldn’t hinder her in the 2014 Summoned Stakes.

Robert Smerdon’s Politeness also ran in the Myer Classic last time out, finishing seventh. She came up the middle of the track and ran well only a couple of lengths away the winner. This followed two fourth place finishes in the Group 3 Sportingbet Sprint (1200m) and Group 2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) as well as a fifth placing in the Group 2 Tristarc Stakes (1400m). The mare has run really well despite missing out placings repeatedly.

Five-year-old grey mare Secret Toy Bizness will start from barrier five while Hong Kong Jockey Club Stakes runner-up Rose Of Choice will jump from barrier six for Peter & Paul Snowden.
