Sydney racing kicks off today at 12:20pm with the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) featuring the race debuts of eight two-year-olds.

On the all black type program are six Group races including a trio of Group 1 features.

The opening elite level is also the day’s marquee race with the $500,000 Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) due to jump at 4:00pm.

It’s a tight Epsom Handicap market too with four single figure hopes including Chris Waller’s George Main Stakes runner-up Royal Descent and market mover Toydini who share $5 favouritism at Ladbrokes.com.au.

Ladbrokes are also offering their famous Best Tote or SP + 20% markets on the Epsom today so check it out for the best value!

The other two features on the nine race program in Sydney then follow the Epsom with the fillies facing off in the $400,000 Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m) at 4:40pm and then the Spring Cups hopes staking their claims in the $400,000 Group 1 The Metropolitan (2400m) at 5:20pm.

Flight Stakes odds are a two filly battle between First Seal ($2.40) and Winx ($2.90) who ran first and second respectively in the Tea Rose Stakes last time out.

Then closing the day, The Metropolitan Handicap betting markets are led by the autumn’s JRA Plate winner at the track Spillway ($4.60) and market mover Junoob ($4.80) coming off a Group 2 Hill Stakes win over 2000m here on September 20.
