Miracles Of Life Scores Strong Victory in 2014 Euclase Stakes
Miracles Of Life produced an impressive victory in the 2014 Euclase Stakes.
Jumping from the gates well, the Not A Single Doubt filly settled in prime position on the heels of early leader Classy Jack, who set a reasonably quick tempo over the final straight and rounding the bend.
Finding the final straight in ideal position, Miracles Of Life quickly found her stride; comfortably finding the front and maintaining a strong sprint to find the line a length in the clear.
Adding a fifth win to her impressive record which also included three places from just 11 competitive starts, Miracles Of Life secured a maiden victory this campaign in winning the 2014 Euclase Stakes; having finished an unlucky second in both the Listed Manihi Classic (1050m) and Listed Redelva Open (1050m) in her two runs prior to this afternoon.
A standout in her debut racing season, Miracles Of Life completed a perfect record of four victories from as many starts, including the major Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) ahead of Fast ‘N’ Rocking.
Sold to enter a career as breeder, an attempt on next weekend’s major Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) now appears a very likely swansong for Miracles Of Life.
Arguably registering her most impressive performance in finishing second in the Euclase Stakes, Jazz Song has fast stamped her claims as a three-year-old to watch over the spring; having claiming the Group 3 Typhoon Tracy Stakes (1200m) prior to this afternoon’s run.
Trained at Mick Price’s Caulfield stables, a trip north of the border and the 2014 Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival is shaping as a very likely option for the Fastnet Rock filly.
