Bring Me The Maid debuted on course in the Listed Sports 1000 (1000m) at Flemington on March 1st and produced a strong final straight sprint to finish in the clear of Husson Eagle and resounding pre-post favourites More Radiant and Eloping.

Owned by the syndicate of Wylie Dalzeil and the late, great Roy Higgins, Moody is confident the talented Sebring filly will continue her so-far perfect career start in the Sweet Embrace Stakes this weekend, despite drawing the slightly wide barrier 7.

Classy filly Twirl (barrier 10) has fast become a two-year-old to watch in 2014, following up a strong debut for second behind boom colt Rubick in the TAB Iphone App Plate (1000m) with a competitive third behind Mossfun and Ygritte in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m) last time out.

Trainer Gai Waterhouse is yet to decide on a major target for the talented Lonhro filly this season, however is likely to include her name in final nominations for the 2014 Golden Slipper (1200m) on April 5th.

Trainer Gerald Ryan will saddle two fillies in the 2014 Sweet Embrace Stakes this weekend, having accepted positions in the final field for both Tetsuko (barrier 4) and Believe Yourself (barrier 1).

Tetsuko has contested only two races in her short career so far, however has quickly shown her potential in running second to Alpha Miss in the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) on debut before winning the Big Sports Breakfast Plate (1100m) with ease on February 26th.

Believe Yourself has claimed two strong barrier trials and the Dancer Handicap (1000m) since first appearing in November, and has quickly firmed as a leading chance for the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) on April 12th.

David Hayes-trained Tawteen (barrier 5) is the only other entrant carrying winning form into the 2014 Sweet Embrace Stakes, having followed up a strong performance for fifth in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview for fillies (1000m) on debut with a near-five length win in the Equiano King Of Speed (900m) on March 5th.

Miss Interiors (barrier 9), Ofcourse She Does (barrier 11) and Stratical (barrier 8) are all confirmed to make their racing debuts in the 2014 Sweet Embrace Stakes, while Press Report (barrier 6), Occitan (barrier 3) and Puzzle (barrier 2) complete the final field for this weekend’s Group 2 for fillies. is currently offering the best odds on all Randwick races this weekend, including the Sweet Embrace Stakes!
