Ladbrokes Releases Industry-first EFTPOS Card For Fast Withdrawals

Leading Australian online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au has today launched a brand new, industry-first EFTPOS card designed to offer punters the ability to withdraw winnings from any ATM immediately after watching their horse, team or athlete claim their respective event.

The biggest criticism of placing a bet via an online bookmaker has always been the delay in time between winning, withdrawing and actually being able to access those funds, but Ladbrokes.com.au has now put that argument to rest and has turned every ATM Australia-wide into an instant payout source.

James Burnett, General Manager of Marketing and Communications at Ladbrokes.com.au said the new EFTPOS card is the first of many ground-breaking innovations scheduled for release in the near future.

“The new card is at the centre of our marketing push, but we will also be rolling out new technology products to stay number one with our customers,” Burnett said.

“The Ladbrokes EFTPOS card, an industry first, is the next step into delivering our ‘bet better’ commitment.”

Having only entered the Australian online betting market in September 2013, Labrokes.com.au has fast become a market leader through exciting promotions, unbeatable odds and ground-breaking innovations like the new EFTPOS card.

“We believe it’s the biggest game changer in our industry since mobile betting,” Burnett added.

“Ladbrokes.com.au is the first in the market to offer the best of both worlds – giving customers the best odds across three Totes or Starting Price, and now with a fast, safe, easy and private way to immediately collect winnings.

“We now offer the ultimate betting proposition: top odds, fast collect.”

The Ladbrokes EFTPOS card is the result of a multi-year agreement with leading payments solution provider Emerchants Limited; a product Managing Director of the ASX-listed company Tom Cregan said mirrors their own innovative nature.

“To be able to partner with Ladbrokes.com.au in a way that dramatically increases their ability to service their customers through instant access to their winnings reflects our innovative approach to business” Cregan said.

“At emerchants our aim has been to create a payment system that is easy to use and offers more control and flexibility to both Ladbrokes and its customers.”

All existing and soon-to-be Ladbrokes.com.au members can access the brand new EFTPOS card today, allowing the user to withdraw up to $1000 cash a day from their account immediately after a win, or complete up to $2500 worth of EFTPOS transactions a day.

“What it means in practice is punters can now place a bet with Ladbrokes.com.au, secure the best odds on offer anywhere in Australia, watch their horse win and minutes later have cash in their hands to buy mates a drink at the bar” Burnett said.
