The 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap will be run as part of Saturday’s Villiers Stakes Day and has attracted nominations from 16 horses.

Included in the nominations for the 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap is Bjorn Baker’s Zaratone.

Zaratone has won 17 of his 54 race starts and has earned more than $530,000 in prize money.

The eight-year-old won his most recent start in the Listed Starlight Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on November 30, and will be out to back that up with another victory in the 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap.

Also included in the 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap nominations is Aeronautical.

Aeronautical has won three of his 23 race starts and has earned more than $355,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The five-year-old placed a close second in the Group 2 The Shorts first-up this preparation, before placing ninth of 12 runners in the Group 2 Gilgai Stakes at Flemington last run.

Aeronautical will be out to post his first win since October 2012 when he runs in the 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap.

Straight Albert and Pampelonne are also included in the 2013 Razor Sharp Handicap nominations.
