Maluckyday has not claimed victory since he saluted in the Group 3 The Lexus Stakes at Flemington on October 30, 2010, and will be looking to put an end to his losing streak this Saturday.

The seven-year-old has won five of his 26 race starts and has earned more than $1.42 million in prize money.

Trained by Joseph Pride at Warwick Farm, Maluckyday will be having his fourth start for this current race campaign.

His most recent start resulted in a fourth placing in the Listed ATC Cup behind Travolta.

Travolta is also included in the 2013 Christmas Cup nominations.

The five-year-old has won five of his 22 race starts and has earned more than $275,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

Proir to Travolta’s last start winning performace, he placed eighth in an $85,000 Handicap at Rosehill on November 16.

The Handsome Ransom gelding is trained by Gai Waterhouse and will be third-up in the 2013 Christmas Cup this weekend.

Travolta will be out to score his second Black Type victory in the $100,000 event.

Hoylonny and Permit are also amongst the 2013 Villiers Stakes nominations.
