Precedence won his most recent start in the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Flemington last weekend and will back up just seven days later in the 2013 Zipping Classic.

His run in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes came after he missed out on a run in the Melbourne Cup by just one runner when Lexus Stakes winner Ruscello chose to use his ballot exemption.

Precedence has won 10 of his 55 race starts and has earned more than $1.62 million in prize money during his horse racing career.

The Zabeel gelding will be looking to post his third straight win in the 2013 Zipping Classic after also claiming victory in the Group 2 Drake International Cup two starts back.

Also included in the 2013 Zipping Classic nominations is Ibicenco.

Ibicenco has won four of his 22 race starts and has earned more than $470,000 in prize money.

The five-year-old won the Group 3 Geelong Cup two starts back before finishing 16th of 24 runners in the $6.2 million Melbourne Cup last run.

Sertorius and Queenstown are also included in the 2013 Zipping Classic nominations.
