14 horses have accepted for a run in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, including Precedence.

Precedence just missed out of a start in the $6 million Melbourne Cup, which was run and won by Fiorente at Flemington yesterday.

The eight-year-old will now look to prove his credentials in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Stakes this weekend.

Precedence has won nine of his 54 race starts and has more than $1.46 million to his name.

The Zabeel gelding won his last start in the Group 2 Drake International Cup at Moonee Valley on October 26, 2013, after placing second in the $100,000 Toyota Gold Cup in his previous run.

Precedence has drawn barrier eight for the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Craig Williams in the race.

Also included in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Stakes final field is Kelinni.

Kelinni has won nine of his 30 race starts and has earned more than $937,000 in prize money during his career.

The five-year-old has not been in winning form this preparation, with his best result of five runs being a seventh placing.

Kelinni had drawn barrier nine for the race and will be ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller.

Forgotten Voice and Sertorius are also included in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth Stakes final field acceptances.
