The Melbourne Cup has been run and won and now the focus has moved to the $1 million Crown Oaks at Flemington Racecourse this Friday November 7, 2013.

Kirramosa is currently favourite to win the 2013 Crown Oaks and is paying odds of $3.30 at Ladbrokes.com.au.

The three-year-old has won three of her seven race starts and has earned more than $217,000 in prize money during her racing career.

Kirramosa won her last start in the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes by more than a length and is in top form going into the 2013 Crown Oaks.

The talented filly has drawn the widest barrier of 10 for the 2013 Crown Oaks.

The Alamosa filly is trained by John Sargent at Royal Randwick and will be ridden by jockey Nash Rawiller in the race.

Second favourite to win the 2013 Crown Oaks at Ladbrokes.com.au is Zanbagh, who is paying odds of $4.20.

Zanbagh has won two of her six race starts and has earned more than $23,000 in prize money.

The Bernardini filly has won her past two race starts at Ballarat, with the most recent being by an impressive five lengths.

Zanbagh will be taking a massive step up in grade for Thursday’s 2013 Crown Oaks, which will be her first Black Type event.

Third favourite for the 2013 Crown Oaks is May’s Dream at $5, while the least backed runner at Ladbrokes.com.au is Tear Gas at $41.
