Next Stop Myer Classic For 2013 Tristarc Stakes Winner Red Tracer

Red Tracer has taken out the Group 2 Tristarc Stakes at Caulfield Racecourse today October 19, 2013.

The Dane Shadow mare was second-up in today’s 2013 Tristarc Stakes after being pipped at the post by Sharnee Rose in the Group 3 Golden Pendant last run.

The six-year-old was favourite to win the 2013 Tristarc Stakes at and was paying odds of $4.20.

Red Tracer is trained by Chris Waller, who was over the moon with her effortless win.

“She fights like a tiger,” Waller said.

“She’s probably the smallest horse in the race.

“She’s just a beauty”

Red Tracer will now have her spring grand finale in the Group 1 Myer Classic at Flemington on November 2, 2013.

Owners Geoff and Mary Grimish are so thankful to be involved with such a champion mare.

“It’s been the most wonderful ride,” Mary said.

“And thanks to Chris Waller who is a wonderful trainer.”

Jockey Nash Rawiller continued his near impeccable record aboard Red Tracer in today’s 2013 Tristarc Stakes.

“I’ve been lucky to ride three of my favourite mares in this race and win on them,” Rawiller said.

“She’s been very well taken care of her whole career.

“That’s my seventh ride for six wins on her.”

Koonoomoo placed second behind Red Tracer in the 2013 Tristarc Stakes, while roughie Ava’s Delight was placed in third position.

It’s not too late to bet on the 2013 Caulfield Cup, which will take place as the next race at Caulfield.!
