2013 Hill Stakes Nominations Feature Glencadam Gold

The Group 2 Hill Stakes is due to take place at Royal Randwick Racecourse this Saturday September 21, 2013, and here you will find the latest nominations information for the race.

A total of 16 horses have nominated for the 2013 Hill Stakes, including Glencadam Gold.

Glencadam Gold has won six of his 17 race starts and has earned more than $577,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The five-year-old is at the beginning of his 2013 Melbourne Cup campaign, after placing sixth in last year’s edition of the race.

Glencadam Gold placed eighth in the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes in his first-up run this spring, and will be out to improve on that result in the 2013 Hill Stakes.

The Refuse To Bend gelding is trained at Royal Randwick by Gai Waterhouse and will have the home track advantage in the 2013 Hill Stakes.

Also included in the 2013 Hill Stakes nominations is Kelinni.

Kelinni has won nine of his 27 race starts and has earned more than $935,000 in prize money during his career.

The five-year-old placed 10th in the Warwick Stakes first-up, before finsihing seventh in the Chelmsford Stakes last run.

Kelinni is also embarking on a Melbourne Cup campaign this spring, where he will be attempting to beat his last year’s gallant fourth place effort.

Beaten Up and Hawkspur are also included in the 2013 Hill Stakes nominations.
