Hawkspur is fresh off his dominant win in the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes last start, which he won by three and a half lengths.

The Purrealist gelding has won seven of his 20 race starts and has earned more than $766,000 in prize money.

Hawkspur is trained at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse by Chris Waller and will be third-up in the 2013 George Main Stakes.

The four-year-old is nominated for all the major features this spring, including the Group 1 Caulfield Cup, 2013 Cox Plate and 2013 Melbourne Cup.

Stable mate Shoot Out is also amongst the 2013 George Main Stakes nominations.

Shoot Out will be looking to improve upon his 11th placing in the Group 3 Tramway Handicap at Royal Randwick last start.

The High Chaparral gelding has won 10 of his 36 race starts and has earned more than $3.23 million in prize money during his career.

Shoot Out is being aimed towards the 2013 Cox Plate later in the spring racing carnival, and will be out to claim a confidence-boosting Group 1 win ahead of the $3 million race.

Dissident and Streama are also included in the 2013 George Main Stakes nominations.
