Trainer John O’Shea revealed that the stable had always expected big things from Bound To Earth.

“We’ve always had a nice opinion of her,” O’Shea said.

“She trialled very well last Friday.

“She’s just been a delight all along.

“It’s a nice win.

“It’s great to be back on a good surface too.

“I think when she gets to her mile she’ll be at her best.”

O’Shea also expressed his thanks to jockey Nicholas Hall for his ride in the 2013 Furious Stakes.

“I love to put Nic on when the opportunity presents itself,” the trainer said.

Hall admitted that he also had a big opinion of Bound For Earth, who appears likely to feature in some of the top races this spring.

“It’s no surprise,” Hall said.

“Geez there’s some improvement.”

“She dug deep and I think she’ll come on from that. So (it’s) something to look forward to that’s for sure.”
