Shoot Out will be making his long awaited spring return in the 2013 Tramway Handicap after being scratched from the Warwick Stakes two weeks ago.

Trainer Chris Waller opted to hold out until this Saturday’s meet with Shoot Out in order to allow him to drop down to his ideal racing weight.

Shoot Out has won 10 of his 35 race starts and has earned more than $3.23 million in prize money during his horse racing career.

The High Chaparral gelding has had three trial runs since returning to spring work and is known for his first-up ability, winning the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes first-up during the autumn racing carnival.

Waller has also nominated stable mate Sacred Falls for the 2013 Tramway Stakes.

Sacred Falls has won seven of her 10 race starts and has earned more than $1.65 million in prize money.

The four-year-old claimed an impressive victory in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile in what was her final autumn start and will be looking to come back with a bang in the 2013 Tramway Stakes.

Metal Bender and Sincero are also amongst the 2013 Tramway Stakes nominations.
