Commanding Jewel has won three of her six race starts and has earned more than $408,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

The four-year-old placed sixth in her first-up spring assignment in the Listed Carlyon Stakes last month and will be out to improve her performance in the 2013 Let’s Elope Stakes.

Commanding Jewel is trained at Kyneton by Leon Corstens and is being aimed at the $3 million Cox Plate on October 26, 2013.

The Commands mare won the Group 1 Thousand Guineas last spring and will be hoping to repeat her spring success during this year’s carnival.

Also nominated for the 2013 Let’s Elope Stakes is Royal Descent.

Royal Descent has won four of her eight race starts and has earned more than $554,000 in prize money during her career.

The Redoute’s Choice mare placed a close second to stable mate Hidden Kisses in the Group 3 Toy Show Quality at Warwick Farm Racecourse on August 24.

Dear Demi and Quintessential are also amongst the 2013 Let’s Elope Stakes nominations.
