Rosehill Gardens Scratchings – Run To The Rose Day 2013

The spring racing carnival continues to heat up in Sydney today, with the 2013 Run To The Rose programme scheduled to kick off shortly at Rosehill Gardens.

There have been no scratchings in the major race of the day, were 14 three-year-olds will line up for their chance to win the Group 3 Run To The Rose.

Sidestep is currently the narrow favourite for the 2013 Run To The Rose and is paying odds of $4.60 at bookmaker.com.au.

The three-year-old has won one of his six race starts and has earned more than $793,000 in prize money.

He will be second-up in the 2013 Run To The Rose after placing fourth in the Group 3 San Domenico Stakes on August 17.

The only other black type race at Rosehill today, the Listed Premier’s Cup, has just seen the two emergencies Samui Lad and Prince Cheri eliminated from the field.
