Dear Demi proved her class last weekend, when the three-year-old won the Group 3 The Roses at the same track.

The Dehere filly has won six of her 21 race starts and has earned more than $1.46 million in prize money during her horse racing career.

Prior to that, Dear Demi placed second in the Group 1 ATC Australian Oaks behind Royal Descent at Royal Randwick Racecourse last month.

Dear Demi is trained by Clarry Conners at Warwick Farm Racecourse and will be looking to continue her flawless record at Doomben in the 2013 Grand Prix Stakes.

Another nomination for the 2013 Grand Prix Stakes is Usainity.

Usainity will be having his third Australian race start in Saturday’s 2013 Grand Prix Stakes after travelling over from New Zealand for the Brisbane Winter Carnival.

The three-year-old finished third in the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate last start, after winning the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate at Royal Randwick two starts back.

The Zed gelding has won four of his eight race starts and has earned more than $120,000 in prize money during his career.

Honorius and Smiles For Layla are also include of the 2013 Grand Prix Stakes nominations.
