2013 SA Fillies Classic Results – Wowee Wins

Wowee has taken home the prize in today’s 2013 SA Fillies Classic at Morphettville Racecourse.

The three-year-old bounced back from a tenth placing at Flemington last start to win the Group 3 SA Fillies Classic in impressive style.

Wowee won the 2013 SA Fillies Classic by a nose in front of Let’s Make A Deal, who placed second, and Summerbliss, who finished in third.

The Choisir filly has now won three of her ten race starts and has earned more than $100,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

Trained at Flemington Racecourse by John Sadler, Wowee was having her first ever attempt at Adelaide’s Morphettville Racecourse.

Wowee was paying odds of $17 to win the 2013 SA Fillies Classic at bookmaker.com.au.

Favourite to win the 2013 SA Fillies Classic was Summerbliss, who produced a gallant performance to finish in third position.

Summerbliss has won one of her seven race starts and has earned more than $146,000 in prize money.

The Danehill Dancer filly’s best result was a third placing in the Group 1 Crown Oaks at Flemington Racecourse during last year’s spring racing carnival.

Summerbliss finished seventh in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill Gardens two starts back, before posting the exact same result in the Group 1 Australian Oaks at Royal Randwick last run.
