The world’s best horse is a $1.12 chance to keep her unbeaten record alive, which is luxury odds for the superstar.

Black Caviar has thumped all-comers in two starts this autumn but she faces a better level of competition this weekend.

Not quite familiar with all her rivals? Keep reading as we summarise the field the mighty mare has to defeat in front of a full house in Sydney.

#1 Hay List $26

The second best horse of his era behind Black Caviar but probably past his best. Ran fourth in first start in 12 months in the Challenge Stakes and has had problems since. The only horse who has challenged Black Caviar in Australia, led well into the straight before being run down by the champ in this race two years ago.

#2 Bel Sprinter $9.50

The latest boom sprinter on the scene and oozes class. Deserving second favourite after bombing the start in a strong Galaxy field before flying home to win by 3 1/2 lengths over gun filly Snitzerland.

#3 Rain Affair $26

Lightning quick front-runner who is yet to win a Group 1 but has won 11 of 18. Trainer Joe Pride has been bullish about this horse in the lead-up.

#4 Decision Time $71

Looks a big price considering his form. Second in the Challenge and third in the Galaxy. Can feature in the placings again here.

#5 Atomic Force $201

Group 1 winner but a deserving outsider. Beaten eight lengths in The Galaxy when seventh and the seven-year-old could be past his best.

#6 Title $201

Stablemate of Rain Affair. Never won above Listed level and looks a class below the competition.

#7 Howmuchdoyouloveme $101

Big powerful sprinter with a strong record. Has won five 10 and was third in the Challenge Stakes first-up. Was poor in the Galaxy but often struggles second-up.

#8 Onthelookout $501

He’s $501 for a reason. Yet to register a black-type win and coming off a third-place finish at Albury.

#10 Sea Siren $26

Classy mare who was well below her best first-up in The Galaxy. Triple Group 1 winner and boasts a fantastic strike rate of six of 12 starts.

#11 Epaulette $51

Three-year-old colt resuming since running third in the Caulfield Guineas. Group 1 winner in the Golden Rose and should be running on late. Stradbroke Handicap in Brisbane is his aim.
