The 2013 Golden Slipper picture is set to become clearer after this weekend and one of the races that is likely to impact that is the Group 2 2013 Todman Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill.
The colts and geldings juvenile race appears an open affair, with Charlie Boy the $3.70 favourite ahead of six other horses who fall under double figures.
Silver Slipper runner-up Whiskey Allround is a $5 chance to claim top honours and force connections to pay the $150,000 Golden Slipper late entry fee while Black Opal Stakes winner Criterion is at $6.50.
Darley colt Sidestep was second in the Black Opal and is a $7.50 chance here while Never Can Tell ($8) is expected to bounce back from an unplaced effort in tough conditions in the Silver Slipper.
Also in the hunt are Blue Diamond runner-up Fast ‘N’ Rocking ($8.50) and Jason Coyle’s colt Va Pensiero ($9).

Was impressive when storming down the outside to win the Black Opal Stakes and likely to improve again here.
Put a line through Never Can Tell’s Silver Slipper 12th as he never handled the heavy ground.
Won the Canonbury Stakes ahead of Gai Waterhouse’s number one two-year-old colt Whittington the start before and can bounce back here.
