Among those dual nominated for the Keith F Nolan and the Group 1 Coolmore Classic and classy fillies Longport and Flying Snitzel.

Flying Snitzel has always signalled potential and finally lived up to that earlier this month when upsetting Norzita to claim the Group 2 Kewney Stakes at Flemington.

Longport is coming off a third-place finish in the Group 2 Surround Stakes after winning the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes and running second in the Group 1 Flight Stakes during the spring.

Flemington trainer Nigel Blackiston has nominated lightly-raced filly You’re So Good who has not finished worse than second in four career starts.

The daughter of Savabeel won on debut at Moonee Valley in December and has made a quick rise through the grades, finishing runner-up in the Group 1 Australian Guineas at her most recent outing.

Also lightly raced is Chris Waller’s Redoute’s Choice filly Royal Descent who has won two of four starts and was fourth in the Surround Stakes.

Darley trainer Peter Snowden has nominated two of his charges in Cameo and Sail.

Cameo struggled when eighth in the Surround Stakes while Sail will step up in class after winning her past two starts at Hawkesbury and Newcastle.

Others entered for the Keith F Nolan Classic include Kris Lees-trained filly Gold Epona, Gai Waterhouse’s Queenstown and local hope She’s Saintly.
