2013 Skyline Stakes – Final Field and Barrier Draw

The final field and barrier draw have been announced for the Group 3 2013 Skyline Stakes (1200m) which stands as one of the key support races to the Randwick Guineas at Warwick Farm on Saturday.

Nine two-year-olds have been named to contest the $125,000 event for colts and geldings, which provides youngsters with the chance to press their claims for a berth in the 2013 Golden Slipper.

Already hinting at bigger things to come is Good Job Bro who backed up consecutive seconds to begin his career with a three-length win at Warwick Farm last month.

Travelling south from Queensland for a first-up test is Octane Flyer who was impressive in a debut campaign last year.

The Kelly Schweida-trained colt won on debut at Doomben in October and backed that up with a runner-up finish at his next start.

Returning for Gerald Ryan is Mossman colt Dothraki who scored victory at Cantebury in late December.

Bjorn Baker has plenty of in-form runners getting about at the moment and Fuerza could be his latest quality galloper.

The Snippetson colt was second to talented stablemate Twilight Royale on debut in December and was beaten a short-head in his second start in the $250,000 Inglis Classic in late January.

Showing plenty of promise for Gary Portelli is Stratum colt All The Talk .

From four starts he has only missed a place on one occasion and that was a fourth-place finish in the Silver Slipper which was run in tough conditions on a heavy 9 track.

Darley always have a strong presence in juvenile races and have accepted with Redoute’s Choice colt Citations.

Rounding out the field are unraced pair Kirov and Mahican and David Payne-trained colt Regimental Pride.
