Undefeated Adelaide filly Miracles Of Life has been reinstalled at the top of the 2013 Blue Diamond Stakes odds following the injury-enforced scratching of Peter Moody’s exciting colt Thermal Current.

Drawn on the rails in barrier one with her regular rider from back home Lauren Stojakovic engaged for the ride, Miracles Of Life is out to extend her winning streak to four having won her past three runs by a a total 19 lengths.
The first two of those were in South Australia but the most recent, a blistering 4.5 length effort, was in Melbourne in the Blue Diamond Fillies Preview.
Former top Blue Diamond Stakes betting fancy Guelph meanwhile has eased out form $3.10 to $3.30, Peter Snowden’s last start Blue Diamond Prelude winning Exceed And Excel filly with a wide barrier 13 draw to overcome on Saturday.
The only other single-figure chance in the mix is then another Snowden-trained filly in Metastasio who is in from $6.50 to $6.
Due to be ridden by Glen Boss the daughter of Street Cry is also yet to taste defeat with two wins from two runs, the latest being a blistering three length effort over fellow Blue Diamond hopeful Kona Breeze in the Chairman’s Stakes at this track on February 2.

Also firming in their price for an upset Blue Diamond Stakes result is then Stephen Theodore’s resuming smokey Crack A Roadie ($21 into $18), the Charge Forward colt winner of the Inglis Banner Stakes on debut last October before their close second in the Group 3 HKJC Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington during the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
